First Class Catamaran

[tabby title=”ITINERARY”]

FASCINATING ROUTES THROUGH THE GALAPAGOS ISLANDS

Motor Catamaran Treasure of Galapagos cruises around the great outdoors of the unparalleled archipelago of the Galapagos, where you will keep going from one surprise to the next! Each day we anchor at two carefully selected visitor’s sites and organise at least two excursions. Our balanced excursion programme (included in our cruise price!) is packed with activities to observe nature from different perspectives; as well as leisure time.

ROUTE A

ITINERARY A / 5D – 4N

Our shortest routes give an excellent impression of this unique ‘laboratory of evolution’ in case you have little time, or if you are on a limited budget. However, you must understand that it would be impossible to see all the highlights in just a few days, although you will probably only visit the Galapagos once in a lifetime. Each island is distinctive and well worth a visit, with different landscapes and an ever-changing spectrum of adapted species.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • The archipelago’s largest concentration of American flamingo in bird-rich wetlands.
  • Fur seal groats & a unique tidal channel with white-tip reef sharks & rays.
  • Flightless cormorants, large marine iguanas and penguins.

ROUTE B

ITINERARY B / 5D – 4N

Our classic 4-night route to the southeast Galapagos Islands anchors at the most paradisiacal bays and lovely beaches. Some of these oldest islands are true crown jewels where you can become an eye-witness of evolution. Several (sub) species have had enough time to transform into emblematic figureheads, which differ from island to island. Moreover, the open water passages take 4-6 hours instead of long overnight navigations; our stable catamaran mostly floats at sheltered anchorages, which helps you get a restful sleep.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Virgin Fernandina & isolated west-coast of Isabela make you an eye-witness of evolution
  • Fur seal groats & a unique tidal channel with white-tip reef sharks & rays.
  • Flightless cormorants, largest marine iguanas and penguins near the equator.

ROUTE C

ITINERARY C / 7D – 6N

Our 6 night-route runs around the largest, seahorse-shaped island of Isabela, where nature seems to hunt for the greatest. Explore the virtually untouched western end of the Galapagos Islands, which has just been born out of fire. You are right on time for the first thrilling chapters of evolution! Uncover the mystery of how tough pioneer species make barren lava fields habitable; and approach bizarre outgrowths of adaptation as marine iguanas and flightless cormorants. It’s true that accessing this remote and isolated region demands longer navigation (mainly overnight), but our stable mega-catamaran enables you to witness ‘survival of the fittest’, without experiencing it.
